Who Can Coach? You Can!

Coaches for the Tumwater Soccer Club are volunteer adults and youth ages 15 and older (with Adult Assistant). Parents often step forward and volunteer to coach the team their child plays on. There are a number of coaches within the club who do not have children playing in the club, but coach because they enjoy the experience.

Many coaches are current or former soccer players with many years of playing and coaching experience. However, no prior soccer experience is necessary especially at the younger age groups. The Club will provide the training necessary to be an effective coach at the younger age groups (6 through 12).

The Tumwater Soccer Club always has opportunities for volunteer coaches. Occasionally the lack of coaches has resulted in interested children not having the opportunity to play in the past. YOU can make a difference!
