Thank you for your continued support!!

Thurston County Soccer Families,

Thurston County Youth Soccer Association (TCYSA) and our Clubs are grateful to all of you who have participated in the Fall recreational soccer season this year. We know that it has been particularly challenging during this unprecedented time. We appreciate your willingness to work with us to make the season safe and successful.

Now that we are about half-way through the season, I want to share some reminders.

COVID safety protocols are critical to insuring player, coach and spectator safety as well as to ensuring that our field owners continue to let us use the fields. We have to continuously demonstrate our commitment to compliance with the safety protocols. What does that mean? It means:

  • Coaches wear masks at all times.
  • Players must wear masks when they aren't actively playing/training - including wearing a mask when they are on the sidelines during games.
  • Only one spectator per player is allowed per State restrictions. Spectators must either wear a mask or maintain physical distance of at least 6 feet from others outside their household. Spectators must also stay at least 10 feet from the sidelines.
  • Only 50 people can be at one playing field. If you have arrived early for your game, please do not congregate near the field where another team is playing as that could result in exceeding the 50 person limit.
  • Avoid post game celebrations like exchanging high-fives, handshakes or fist-bumps with the other team or referees. (Instead give them a physically distanced cheer.)

For more information, here is a link to the Thurston County Youth Soccer's Fall Season COVID safety policies.

I really want to thank all of our volunteer coaches and assistant coaches for all of their efforts. I know that this has been a more challenging season than normal and that we have asked a lot of you. This wouldn't be possible without you. Thank you!

And I want to thank all families for your commitment to providing a safe environment for the kids to play soccer. We are grateful to be able to return to play and we couldn't do it without your support. Thank you!

In good sport,

Candice Bock

TCYSA President

A Huge Thank You to Ken and all the volunteers that helped make JSP a great success this Fall season. Already looking forward to Spring season
